THE AMERO STANDARD INTERIOR is a parchment colored melamine that is thermo-fused to a commercial grade 3/4" particleboard core. Due to the thermo-fused processes, this material provides one of the most durable cabinet interiors available today.
THE AMERO STANDARD CASE INTERIOR IS AN EXCELLENT ECO-FRIENDLY CHOICE.
This is an Environmentally Preferred Product (EPP) which is 100% reclaimed or recycled material content and extrememly low formaldehyde emissions which meets the very strict 2009 California Air Resource Board (CARB) requirements for formaldehyde emissions of less than 0.18 parts per million. This composite board material contains at least two-thirds of Sustainable Forest Initiative (SFI) certified wood fiber that is also harvested within 500 miles of the Pacific Crest factory. This product meets LEEDs (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) credit MR4.1, 4.2, 5.1, and 5.2 for reclaimed or recycled content and manufactured within 500 miles of the Pacific Crest factory. ADDITIONAL STANDARD CONSTRUCTION FEATURES ON ALL AMERO CABINETS
- 3/4" thick cabinet case panels are joined together with concealed hardwood dowels and glue providing structural integrity and strength.
- 3/4" thick full top on all base cabinets provides tremendous strength, rigidity, and support for heavy stone counter surfaces.
- 1/2" thick MDF back panel connected to the sides with a dado joint for strength and rigity.
- 3/4" thick fully adjustable shelving for storage flexibility.
- Self closing fully adjustable concealed hinges with 110 degree opening.
- Full extension soft close drawer glides.
AMERO OFFERS A 3/4" PLYWOOD CASE CONSTRUCTION OPTION.
This option features an extremely durable UV clear coat finish over the Birch veneer plywood, providing durability and low maintenance. With the plywood option, all box sides, tops, bottoms, and shelves are constructed with plywood. The cabinet back will remain 1/2" thick MDF. The same construction methods of dowelled joinery and full top panel construction on base cabinets apply to this option.
AMERO'S STANDARD DRAWER REFLECTS OUR COMMITMENT TO VALUE-ADDED PERFORMANCE.
It is constructed with 5/8" thick hardwood, has a 1/4" thick plywood bottom held secure in dado joints on all four drawer sides, and is joined at each corner with concealed hardwood dowels. The Amero drawer is supported by soft close undermount full extension glides with a 65 pound dynamic rated load capacity.
AMERO BASE, VANITY, DESK, AND TALL CABINETS are constructed without an integral toe kick structure. This feature allows for simple installation processes and provides an accessible under cabinet space for running electrical or plumbing. Install with your choice of an on-site built toe kick ladder structure or adjustable leveler legs for each cabinet.
